Matcha Loaf Cake

Light, fluffy, and bursting with that delightful green tea zing, this matcha cake is like a flavour party in your mouth! Also packed full of antioxidants and goodness!

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C or gas mark 4

  • Line a loaf tin with grease-proof paper

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter and golden caster sugar until creamy consistency

  • Add all eggs in and mix well into the sugar and butter mix

  • Sift in the flour and matcha powder and combine until the mixture is smooth in texture

  • Pour mixture into lined loaf tin and bake for around 40 minutes.

  • Leave to cool before serving

  • Enjoy!!
