Matcha Loaf Cake
Light, fluffy, and bursting with that delightful green tea zing, this matcha cake is like a flavour party in your mouth! Also packed full of antioxidants and goodness!
INGREDIENTS
4 eggs
220g self-raising flour
220g golden caster sugar
220g unsalted butter
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180°C or gas mark 4
Line a loaf tin with grease-proof paper
In a mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter and golden caster sugar until creamy consistency
Add all eggs in and mix well into the sugar and butter mix
Sift in the flour and matcha powder and combine until the mixture is smooth in texture
Pour mixture into lined loaf tin and bake for around 40 minutes.
Leave to cool before serving
